Preventing and responding to sudden cardiac arrest in young athletes

Community Education and Screening

Important: not every condition can be picked up on screening therefore it is important that any symptoms are reported ASAP to the your regular medical practitioner. Also, everybody should learn and engage with the 3 Rs of emergency action planning i.e includes early Recognition of SCA (sudden collapse in an athlete/sudden cardiac arrest), immediate Response with CPR and prompt access to and the use of AED to Revive

Community Education

This is why we’ve developed a dedicated education hub: to ensure that life-saving information is accessible to everyone, no matter where they are.
